Objective
To ensure a smooth and on time delivery, tariff clarification, tax refund/bonded construction site operation, of machineryand quarantine/customs for raw material samples.
**공장 건립 동안에는 유럽에서 제품 생산에 필요한 기계를 수입, 통관, 공장 부지까지로의 운송의 모든 프로세스 담당
Scope
Manage and follow all detail related to the importation of machinery and raw materials.
Follow and ensure the smooth transition of all imported goods while meeting all legal requirements.
Communication with cross functional teams especially with the Construction Management, Supply and S&F.
Follow and manage payment requests and tracking related to freight, trucking, customs clearance fee, etc
Key Accountabilities and Activities
Factory Machinery Inbound Management
• Evaluate and define any duty/tariff for machinery and raw materials outside any FTA’s
• Report current status or issues as to on time delivery of materials
• Coordinate the inbound order delivery arrangement with forwarder, and carrier from vendor site, vessel arrangement, loading arrangement, custom clearance, quality regulation to discharge plan till arrival at construction site
• Collect, follow up, and check the standard shipment documents from vendor& carriers for custom clearance and FTA requirements
• Coordinate the custom clearance operation with the custom broker and customs
• Track and coordinate the vessel delivery schedule with the carriers
• Inform and work with the Factory Financial Controller on the ETA of any imported machinery, to enable the finance team to take advantage and maximise any financial hedging.
• Build a rapport with Korean customs, understand and meet their requirements and regulations to ensure a smooth transition of goods.
• Utilizing buying power for all shipping costs, related to the project
• Conformation of shipping Insurance from supplier or covered in our covered by the construction insurance before machinery leaves the site of the supplier.
• Follow and implement payment requests and tracking related to freight, trucking, customs clearance fee, etc.,
Meeting FTA Requirements
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure all import documentation and contracts for reflecting FTA and Korean Customs requirements
• Conduct product evaluation to determine FTA eligibility and document the certification
• Prepare with support of suppliers the information required to produce FTA certificate of origin
• Maintain documents in system folders and maintain databases with relevant FTA information
Raw Material Samples Delivery
• Clarify code for RM and conduct FTA application
• Conduct quarantine and customs clearance meeting the regulatory requirements.
• Monitor regulatory changes in requirements for raw material.
• Develop import agency who has expertise in different types of RM importation for future usage.
** 4년 이상 수입 / 통관 / 운송 업무 담당
** EURO FTA 지식, 경험 보유자
** 영어 중급 이상
• Over 5 years experiences in customs and inbound logistics.
• Have experience in FTA’s in Korea
• Have experience in Korean Customs procedures and WOW
• Have experience and knowledge in tax refund/bonded site operation
Necessary Technical / Functional Skills
Computer literacy
• Communication & influential skills– verbal and written: Communicates effectively with cross functional team and key stake holder for the demand forecast
• English communication skills– verbal and written
• Have or be willing and capable of acquire whatever certification is required to run BondedConstruction Site and Bonded Warehouse
