- Manage and build relationships with supplier base and proactively scope and execute projects that would drive growth and profitability for the product category as a part of outsourcing objectives and strategies.
- Identify supplier base and assess capabilities to develop internal processes to allow O/S business to take actions to execute business strategies.
- Define metrics and goals to actions that maximizes sourcing activities which include Request-for-Quotation (RFQ), cost savings & make/buy cost analysis.
- Lead supplier-readiness surveys, negotiate with suppliers for improved cost position, lead reviews for supplier selection process and contract negotiations.
- Take ownership of sourcing risk management process to identify risks areas and drive to closure with support and leadership of cross-functional teams.
- Sourcing or vendor management experience, but not necessarily.
- Good problem solving skills and strategic business insight.
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
